how do I turn off the date stamp on a nikon d-70? I would like to turn off the date/time stamp on my nikon d-70? Any help would be appreciated,thanks.

I don't have the D70. But in the manual, look for Date Stamp in the index. Then that should tell you how to turn it off. Or you if you are fimilliar with it's menu, just look around it and you might be able to find where to turn it off.

I believe that it is in the menu in the SET UP part.. I think it is the last or 2nd to the last on the first screen under DATE... hopefully this is right as I dont have my camera with me right now.. hope this helps

I have the Maxxum 7D so I'm sure things are alot different but for my camera you don't enter any data into the date and time area to shut it off . . . so there really isn't a "off button"
