pixels I have uploaded a photo to my gallery that I would like to enter in the contest, but when I try to change the pixels to fit the no more then 5oo pixels on the short dimension it distorts the photo. The photo name is Looking In. Can I enter the photo with out changing the pixels. Also why does the photo become destorted when I change the pixels?

it is 500 pixals on the longest end it states. so if it is 500 on the short side then you don't have to resize it at all.

William, if the photo is already in your gallery, it is sized correctly. I looked at "Looking In" and it appears to be 500 pixels across. To enter in the contest, simply enter the photo number assigned by BP. It isn't neccessary to re-enter the name or other info; it will transfer automatically. Now, as for the distortion, (this applies to Photoshop ELements 3), under Image>Resize>Image Size, note there is a box entitled "Constrain Proportion." If you want to maintain the same proportion, check the box and change only the short side dimension to 500 pixels. Also note that you will need to set the Resolution (probably keep the default of 180 pixels/inch) before assigning a dimension. VR John
