FujiColor NHGII 135 Professional 800 film

Used this fim in a large sancturary in very low lighting, with some spot lighting, reds, greens, blues. Used apt of 3.5, film speed 60 with no flash. Some pictures did not come out at all, some picked up the blue haze, but dark image. Some came out ok, but nothing spectactular. Do I need to slow the shutter speed down, and if so, how slow? Any other suggestions would be helpful.

Is there something wrong with the meter on your camera? There is no way to tell you what aperture or shutter speed to use without knowing how much light. Your definition of very low lighting is probably different from mine or anyone else. It sounds to me like you just need to learn how to use your meter.

An Aperture of f/3.5 and a shutter speed of 1/60s is going to take photos in around about twilight or domestic indoor room for 800 speed film.

If it is equivalent of a moonlit night, you might want to slow it down to say, 1 second? As Jeff said, check your meter. Some meters become extremely inaccurate during darkness. (Eg, my EOS-5, when I put a lens cap on and cover the eye piece, should theoretically give an exposure of f/2.8 @30 seconds, brightest exposure possible, but most the time, it gives something like 8 seconds...)
