Studio Lighting - what do you think of this?

Hi All

I am almost ready to purchase my first "studio lighting" set up and I was wondering what everyone thought of the below package.

http://www.studiolight.com.au/powermate_details.htm

I am a little nieve to what I need, but I just want to be able to create photos like in my gallery without having to wait for my speedlite to recycle each time (I miss too many candid shots!). Don't forget prices are in Aussie dollars - here everything is expensive!

Anyone have any comments on the above, I am new to the whole "studio" set up, so don't really know what to look for.

I think your work is great as it is.....if it is not broken WHY FIX IT??????? I love your work and after having had a studio for the last 12 years, I think it looks great. I always kept it simple as long as the client was happy and paid.......that is all that matters.

  Hi Debbie

I am really happy with the way my photos are lit now, but because I am using a Speedlite, it really struggles, and I always have to wait about 5 sec for it to recycle before I can take the next shot, which is sometimes too long when you are photographing babies. Also, when I have 2 or more people in the "studio" environment, sometimes people aren't illuminated as much as I would like, I loose a little bit of detail, too much shadowing etc.

LOL! Yep, plus I use an infa red setup so I don't have wires etc, but sometimes it just stops working too! So unprofessional.......LOL
