how to make or where to get a cd slideshow Hi all. I would like to be able to offer my clients a cd slideshow but do not not how to get started. Is there a program I need to buy where I can then make them myself or easier to just order with an online company?? Also does anyone know of a company where I can order CD-R's that are decorative or where I can have info printed on the cd like the date of the photo shoot and clients name, my name etc.?

Kristi, The slide show can be easily made yourself with Power Point, This comes with Microsoft Office and can also be downloaded from the Microsoft web site-but do yourself a favor and buy the Cd(look on Ebay as it is MUCH cheaper there)Also, the inprinted Cds are VERY VERY expensive! if you are just starting out then for now just personalize each one with the subjects picture and info. on to a CD lable- or better yet just use a plain paper insert in your CD case.Lable kits are cheap $9.00-$14.00 at Wal-mart and come with thelables to get started-but included is the choice of printing the lable as a slip in for your jewel cases. I had only one come back due to the stick on lable(they tryed to pul the lable off and damaged the CD. because of my books, A use slip in now all the time. I do hope this helps, Debby Tabb

Another very easy to use program is Microsoft Photo Story. It is available as a free download from Microsoft. The easiest & cheapest way to personalize CDs is to print labels and use a label setter like a CD Stomper to make sure the label is applied correctly.
