Site Ettiquette regarding discussion comments

I have received several kind comments about my entries. Is it considered polite for me to reply to these comments? I would hate to come across aloof and unappreciative of members who have taken the time to comment on them. My mom always taught me to mind my manners.

Thank you!

That is entirely up to you, depending on your time. A Thank You is never inappropriate.

Or if you have the time visit the persons gallery and comment on one of their pictures.

The best THANK YOU that you can give someone is to visit their gallery.

You may like an image and comment on that image.

I find in each gallery there is usually something you enjoy and than make a comment back to the person about their image.

  Thanks everyone! LOL!

seriously, every site is different and although thank yous are always nice depending on the mores of the site I could come across like an annoying little knat posting "thank you" all over the place. I like the idea of visiting their galleries and will do so!

And uh, thanks again :)
