which is better slide or negative? Which film is better, based on color and quality, slide film or negatives? Right now I use negatives, but a lot of people use slide, so is there that much of a difference?

It depends on the brand, speed, application,...and the experience level of the handler (or the processing lab) which is considered better. Fine-grain slide films by both Fuji and Kodak are tough to beat. The main difference between the two is that slide film becomes the actual image seen through the viewfinder (or lens),...as opposed to negative film which must be printed. I've used slide film all my life and have found that Kodachrome 64 has the most accurate color and overall quality. In recent years though, KR64 has been difficult to find and a pain to get processed. Fuji Provia 100T is the closest thing I've found to match the quality af Kodachrome and it can be processed at any lab.

"What"..... I don't get it. Please clarify, and be REAL careful what you print in an open forum.
