I like Kodak Portra NC for good skin tones and Kodak Ultra for vivid colors.

It really depends on how much light you have. If it is indoor, as you stated, I would go with 400. If you have a lot of light, use 160 speed.

There's also that Kodak Portra 800 that I've had some good results with. I would have had to use this speed when I was taking pictures at a fashion show in a bar/grill a few months ago. Check out the location if you can or ask somebody else who might have shot there before about speed. I used Porta 400VC as well before and I really liked it.
