Model releases of crowd photo

I have been reading a lot about Model releases. I want to know some details..
1. if I take a photo of a crowd at station or such public place It is required to get a model release? how can I take it?
2. if there is any public event or road show going on, how can I get model release?
3. I have some car / bike photos which obviously has visible logos . is it illegal to sell such photos? How can I handle this issue?

and if I dont have the relase then can I sell the images ?
