  Hi Stacee,
Welcome to BP. I quickly looked through your gallery and I like what I see. You've got a good grasp on composition which is half the battle.
I would suggest spending some time reviewing past winners and finalists if you want to get an idea of what kind of pics the judges here at BP are looking for!
Good luck!

Thank you very much for your compliment, its very much appreciated. I browsed through gallery as well & I really liked your animal pics, especially of the bigger cats. Very beautiful work. I will definately spend more time looking at past winners. Good luck to you too.

  Hi Stacee!
Welcome to BP!! This is the place to be for critique!
My favorites of your pictures are Ripples, Love of Nature, and Standing Tall.
Ripples - great composition, lighting, and color. Bravo!
Standing Tall - good idea, but I think you could expound upon it a little more. I would lower the positioning - crouch down lower - and possibly cut the green out of the left corner to make it seem a little desolate, but for the subject. Great idea, again.
Lover of Nature - I think this picture came out so well because you took it on my mother's birthday. Just kidding. I love this. The contrast in amazing, and the composition. LOVE IT!
The Falls - not mentioned before, but I am looking at it now, and I think it should be looked at. Another great idea. Amazing composition... you've got the 'rules of thirds' down pat! I would have taken it sooner, so the boat/ferry would be farther back, but it is done. The only thing I don't like is the fuzz. I am sure it is from the falls - lol - and not you, but I don't like it. However, it is not something you can control.
All over, you have a really good eye, and seem to know what you're doing. I really enjoyed looking at your work, and I hope I was helpful! Keep shooting!

By His Grace and For His Glory,

Elizabeth C.

Thank you very much for your suggestions Elizabeth, i'll take them to heart. I also took a look at your gallery & liked what I saw. My favorite was the one titled 'Youth', which I thought showed the innocence & wonder of being young. Keep up the good work :)
