Photography Question

Trish N. Bland

advice about camera settings

I am fairly new to digital photography, but do a decent job with the photographs I take inside with natural light and with my outdoor photos. However, my brother and his wife are having their first baby this week and want me to come into the surgery room to take pictures of the delivery. I am nervous about the settings I should use in that unnatural flourescent light. Has anyone had success with this that could offer me some advice? I will be using my Canon 20d. Any advice would be greatly apprecitated. Thanks, Trish

  hi trish
well I don't know much about the canon 20d, but on your white balance settings I suggest that you set it on the flouresent setting. also I would go somewhere with flourescent lights and just play around with it.

Thanks for the advice, Brendan. Both sound like good ideas. Trish
