ENDLESS JOURNEY BOOK i WAS REALLY EXCITED TO GET A LETTER AND SEE THAT MY PICTURE OF MY DAUGHTER WAS GOING TO BE PUBLISHED IN A BOOK..I WAS VERY EXCITED BUT NEVER AHD THE EXTRA MONEY TO ORDER THE BOOK AND IM GLAD I DIDNT AFTER SEEING SO MANY PEOPLE WHO HAVE SENT MONEY IN AND DIDNT GET THE BOOK.I FIGURED ID WAIT TILL ITS IN THE STORE.THEY SAID ITS OUT 3-31-05 IF YOU GOT IT FROM THEM IT WOULD BE MAILED TO U SOONER THAN IN STORES.WELL ITS 6 WKS AFTER AND THEY SAID IT WOULD BE IN STORES AND HAVENT FOUND IT YET.THEN THEY SENT ME A FORM TO PAY FOR ALL THESE MEDALS I WAS TO GET FOR THE PICTURE AND I SENT THEM A MESSAGE SAYING IF THIS WAS REAL I DONT NEED TO PAY 160.00 FOR MY OWN MEDALS YOU ARE TO GIVE THEM OUT.SO IF ANYONE FINDS THIS BOOK PLEASE LET ME KNOW. lisaglassburn@hotmail.com thanks

Lisa, Your BS detector is working quite well. HaHaHaHa! That's a new one . . . order it from them and you'll get it sooner than the stores. I think you'd be waiting a long time, a very long time, an eternity, to find it in the stores. I suppose it's true you'd get it sooner ordering straight from them if "the stores" (presuming major bookstores) *never* get them! "Endless Journeys" . . . what a title. Here it's been "Endless Threads" about "Endless Journeys," their other books, the International Library of Photography, the International Society of Photographers, Picture.com and all the other names they go by (see these Endless Threads): And you you just happen to be a poet, the same folks also own and operate Poetry.com, the International Library of Poetry, etc., ad nauseum. Wouldn't surprise me if there wasn't an "International Society of Poets" and I wonder if they get a price break on using the same silver bowls for both (just change engraving on brass plate) . . . or perhaps they've already max'ed out the price break with sheer quantity. Really . . . this isn't to make fun of you or your question. I've been utterly cynicized over the years about all the schemes they pull to sell their "Vanity Press" books to people by preying on their vanity, stroking their egos and relying on them being naive (unknowing) about what they're really doing and what their real business is . . . selling books to people whose photos (or poetry) is published in them. -- John Lind

Thanks for your input john.And your quit right they will do anything to make there money but make us suffer who have to get the money and then are had.Im sure they have did there way with people and know very well what to do and im upset.Why should we have to pay the money for our own medals and things if our picture is quit good.Again thanks for your voice.Something needs to be done about this company..
