Using Preference Settings for Canon 20D

I have been using the Canon 20 D since November. It has the ability to program the color settings, but I haven't used it much.
I have been reading about the 81A filter, and wondered if these color settings built into the program of the camera would be of benefit. If so, what should the settings be to equate to the 81A?

thanks

The 81A is a very, very, very mild warming filter, almost not worth using (in my opinion). If you want to "see" a difference in your images, the 81B is the "normal" of this filter group, and the 81C is a little stronger still. If your 20D allows you to adjust in Kevin degrees, subtracting a couple hundred from your daylight setting would put you in the ball park.
If you consider 5500K as "normal daylight," the 81A would probably equate to 5200-5300K, I believe.

Thank-you for your answer. And I can adjust by degrees. Does the 81 set A or B, add a slight colorcast to the "warming"?
