There are many manufacturers who make flashes for your camera - Vivitar, Sunpak, Metz, etc. as well as Nikon. All you need to get is a flash that is compatible with a Nikon FE-2. Get a shoe mount. You don't need a handle mount for now. Look for something with a guide number of at least 100. Definitely get a tripod. You will need it.

Need to add one more thing. After you get the flash and the tripod, don't buy ANYTHING else for now. You don't need to get caught up in the trap of buying more and more equipment. Just buy plenty of film and take plenty of pictures. Sure, buy a few books and read them or get them from the library. Reading and shooting are great teachers, even if some (or many) of your shots are failures. You will learn more from your failures than you will from your successes.
