Shooting Indoors with a 400 Film

Although I have a 400 film in my camera, what can I do to use this film correctly for inside photos. I know this film is NOT the film to use, but I would like to know any tips for using this type film indoors. i.e.) flash, etc. I'm using an older Konica T3 series camera.

Thank you,
Patricia

Why do you say it isn't the right film to use? If you have a decent flash, 400 may do nicely, especially if the room has decent lighting. I prefer 800 (Fuji) as long as I don't plan on making an enlargements bigger than a 5x7 or maybe an 8x10.

  Hi, Wildwind,
You certainly can use ASA 400 film indoors and get wonderful results. The use of your flash will work just fine with this film indoors. If you find that you are getting "orangish" or "yellowish" pictures because of the tungsten lights (ordinary lightbulbs), pick up an 80 series, color correcting filter for your lens. I suggest an 80b for most situations. Many of my pictures are of my granddaughter and I need a fast shutter speed to catch the little stinker, therefore I often use ASA400 film. I have enlarged some of these shots up to 11x14's with extremely good results.
