Where should I start I am a sophmore in high school and since I take school online I don't have a lot of photography options to choose from. I don't have any that specialize in digital fine arts. I want to aquire books on this subject from what software to use, to how to use said software. I want to become knowledgable on an expert level so I can use my overactive imagination to my advantage. Any suggestions will help.

Judging by your question, I'd say the local library in your county would be a good place to start. If they don't have the kinds of books you're looking for, they can get them on inter-library loan. There are a lot of programs online as well, here at betterphoto.com, or at http://www.webphotoschool.com which offers online studies at various levels of experience. A lot of things in photography are learned by trial and error, teaching yourself, or even just hanging out with a bunch of friends, starting you own photo club or workshop can be useful and fun too. Take it light. Mark
