Help with the BG-E1 I have been told the BG--E1 can operate with 6 AA Batteries. Is this true ? I dont see how ?

Sharon: I don't think so. < Some battery grips do accept AA batteries but this one does not. Peter Burian

Whoever said it may have been thinking of the BG-E2. It's made for the EOS 20D and it comes with an adaptor to fit 6 AA batteries instead of the BP511 batteries. As far as I can tell, Canon doesn't make an adaptor like this for the BG-E1.
