What lighting was used? Fluourescent lights have a different color spectrum than daylight that typically results in a greenish color cast to film (or digital if white balance wasn't adjusted). If you used a flash (daylight balanced) under fluourescent lights, then your near subject lit by the flash will have the proper color balance, but the background will have the greenish color from the fluourescents. The flash is not capable of lighting the entire scene.

If this is the case, the only way to balance the color for the whole scene is to digitally edit the photo - make separate layers for the near subject and background, adjust the color in the background layer, then recombine them.

If, on the other hand, the entire photo has a greenish hue to it, then the printer should be able correct it. Take them back to be redone, or find another lab as Kerry suggested.

Didn't think about the possiblility of flourescent light but if they were shot under flourescent lighting, does as Jon suggested. If you regularly shoot under these conditions, you could use a slave flash to light the background.
