Film vs Digital on Vacation On an upcoming trip to the Florida Keys should I take an SLR or digital camera? What minimum equipment for the SLR should I take? Thanks for any advice. (I want to shoot some great sunsets.)

The choice is really up to you. Personally, I prefer film. Try the Kodak Ultra color film. It will give you some awesome colors. Just remember to be very cafeful with your camera around the beaches. Salt water is really rough on camera. Clean your camera very well every day. Salt will get on it even if you don't realize it. (Salt spray, etc.). Don't open your camera on the beach. Go back to a building to change the film.

I'd take them both! Make good of all your resources. Keep a wide angle lens with your SLR to capture you scenic sunsets. (Anything under 50mm will do, but the wider the better)If you have a zoom capable of this range of wide angles, keep that one on hand, so you won't have to be changing lenses by the saltwater. (Heed Kerry's advice.) Don't go cheap on film and definitely use color-rich films varieties. Most of all, have fun and show us some great pics!
