How to shoot action in low light Im looking to buy a flash to shoot in areas with low light and action. I was just wondering what would be the prefered mount, shoe or handle?

You could use a strob/DC power pack with wireless connection. This will give you the most output. You can also alter the shape of the output to increase the distance the light will go. Shoe mounts are quick and dirty. They cause bad shadows when taking vertical shots. They also can harm the camera body by using big ones with too much weight pulling on the small mount. Handle means you can move the flash to other places to avoid the vertical shadows. Bigger than shoe mounts and thus you can diffuse the flash and not loose to much power. Good Luck.

The SuperSoft Halfdome. Use it for low ceilings or shooting straight forward outdoors. LIGHSPHERE II Never use a slave again, no shine - no shadow - no problems
