I would stick to buying from a reputable firm like Adorama or B&H. The price may be a little higher than you can find on some sites but they are trustworthy. If the price is too cheap, something is wrong.

ResellerRatings.com is a pretty good resource for determining trustworthy retailers from crooks. I wouldn't do business with anyone rated less than the average (7.20). Beware bait and switch tactics, and super-low prices for the body only, but require you to separately purchase the battery, charger, software, manual, etc. at inflated prices.
