  Greetings,

Is this glare from your flash or from room lights?

If it is from your flash, try putting the lens of the camera against the glass. However, depending on the size of the artwork and the distance from the glass to the artwork, this might not be practical. Also, trying moving your flash off the camera and bouncing the flash.

I would use a soft box. Place the artwork in the box, which is a fabric box that lets diffused light through. You poke the camera lens through and opening and take the picture. Flashes can be used here, and you won't get the glare as no direct light is hitting the glass. They come in various sizes.

Hope this helps..
Robert

also, if the lighting is already decent and you can spare two stops or you're using a tripod, you could use a circular polariser to reduce glare on glass.
