Light Meter

I am looking into buying the Sekonic L-358 light meter. I have read great reviews. My question is, does it work as well with digital (my Canon MarkII) as with film?

Michael H. Cothran   It measures light values.
It doesn't know whether you are shooting film or digital, and it doesn't care. It measures light values. And it's a great little meter.

Michael H. Cothran   Steven,
One other thing: As I stated, it measures light values. How you apply those values (readings) will determine the outcome and success of your image exposure.

  Hey Folks,
I was thinking that a light meter is no longer necessary with a digital camera...why am I wrong? Thx.
