Using EQUALIZE as a artifact detector Hi, Brian Watters here. I've developed a technique / tutorial for using Photo-shops Image Adjustment EQUALIZE option for detecting and repairing artifacts on images with solid backgrounds. It works well with both dark and white backgrounds. I've temporally placed it in HTML format on my personal web space at http://www3.sympatico.ca/thercr/index.htm instead of sending you a PDF file or something you may not want or be able to use.
