Canon eos elan 7e and 7ne I am about to buy a new camera and I really like the canon eos elan, can somebody tell me which is the difference between an elan 7E and the 7NE and wich is better and if this camera is a good option, and which lens should I buy, I dont want to make a wrong choice, pleace help me! The Elan 7NE is the next generation of the Elan 7E. According to Canon, it has improved focus system, new backlit display, and distance-based E-TTL II auto flash metering. Depending on your usage, choosing lenses is very personal. My first choice of lens would be the EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM. My other choices are EF 50mm f/1.4 USM and Tamron 28-200mm f/3.8-5.6 XR Aspherical IF Macro. Hope this helps.
