Anita: Scott Kelby has a book called "The Photoshop Book for Digital Photographers". In my mind this is the best and easiest to use to get results for a photographer. Most Photoshop books just go through the features lile a long list, but Scott shows you how to get stuff done. And, he doesn't dwell on the graphic arts stuff too much. Look at the book in the bookstore and read the first page after the table-of-contents. You will know after that if the book is for you. Ken Rush

I also Agree with Ken, Scott Kelby's book is a must have. You will read it cover to cover the first day. Then it will become your go to reference.

I found this book which is part of a series at Barnes and Noble, its called "Photoshop Projects in Easy Steps" by John Slater. It is by all means a beginer book, but I found it to be very helpful. It is true to its name when it says easy steps. The book gives you the ability to download all of the pictures that they use in it so you can perform the exact same steps as laid out in the book. Very helpfull and inexpensive as well at only $9.95
