Single Person Romantic Shoot I have a portrait session coming up and usually I am very creative with coming up with ideas, but I have come to a road block, a mind black. I can not think. A client is looking for a shot to give to her fiance for valentines, she was it to be romantic, and sweet an simple. The only thing that comes to my head is Candles and roses. for some reason I just can not think of a way to pose this client for this type of shoot. I have hundreds of ideas for couples, but it just seems harder for a single person. Can anyone give me some ideas, hints, and HELP. Thank you so much!

Just soft light it and have her look at the camera like she's trying to get him to stay longer. Tight shot looking back over a bare shoulder. The facial expression is the key. Everything else really isn't that technically difficult.

Make it a sexy picture and he will love it. Sexiness is in the eyes and the pose. Have her look down ever so slightly, raise her eyes, and look directly into the camera. Slight smile. Also, take the pose Greg suggested. I like his idea a lot. Let her pick from these.

Find out what you can about her fiancee,...his likes and passions (besides her, of course), and try to work in into the photo. If he is a sports fanatic,...a shot of her putting on a cap of his favorite baseball team would be simple, sweet,...and quite romantic.
