Photography Question

Info on new black digital rebel?

I currently own a digital rebel, which I dearly love, but was dissapointed in the fact that it came in silver and not a more professional black model. I now see that they have come out with a black version. I am thinking of selling my silver one and buying the black one. I know it is a vain reason, but just the same my heart is set on the black one. I was just wondering if they are the same camera or what is different about the new one. As far as the image sensor goes, is it the same. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your input!!

Hi Tammy, as far as I know, the digital rebel silver and black are the same camera. The one's just black (which in my opinion looks better) and the other one silver. It is a limited edition version. If you want more information on this product go to: http://www.dpreview.com/news/0411/04110201canon_rebelblackus.php

I would suggest that you check with your local dealer (or the place where you bought the camera), if you can trade it for the black one and then just pay the extra bit of money.

Hope this is helpful.
