pixel size, resolution, file size , dpi Where can I find a simple explanation to the relationship of pixel size, pixel number, file size, resolution, dpi ,shooting a digital image, and making a poster size sharp photo image?????? I would like this combined with learning how to use the light effects in photoshop 6.0 and work with portraits using my Olympus 2100c = 2.1 megapixel 10x zoom????? Which is the course which will best answer the above needs?

For starters, look at scantips.com. He will explain the terms you mention. See if the articles on my web page are any help. You may eventually want to take one of the courses here, or one at your community college or adult education.

Hi Beverley: Good advice from Doug! Also, BetterPhoto offers some excellent digital and PhotoShop courses. One recommendation would be to start with a digital photography course first, and then follow-up with a beginning photoshop course later.
