which is the best camera for my I want to buy a camera for around $400. My intentions are that I want to get the most professional camera possible for the money. I would like to be able to do weddings and such, but my budget is limited. I really like the Dimage Z3's but I don't need that much zoom. What are some comparable cameras that have better functionality in other areas other then in the zooming capisity?

$400? Please check EBAY website ( Registration is FREE! )And then click Cameras---Digital,and look at the various brands available---you can buy an item IMMEDIATELY if you find the price suitable or BID as much a you can afford! Check the features at your convenience, if the warranties are available or if the product is a USA product or grey market import. Also check out feedback from past costumers of a seller if they have purchased products you intend to buy to avoid BOGUS DEALS( which happens sometimes....). Also check excellent $400 price range in these websites ---Broadway Photo ( www.bwayphoto.com )CCI Camera City Inc. ( www.ccicameracity.com )
