Graphic Tablets Is anyone using the Graphire or Intuos tablets from Wacom? I just bought a new laptop and I thought it would be a good time to try one of them too. I shoot with a Digital Rebel and do most of my editing in Photoshop Elements.

I absolutely love my Wacom tablet. I got a small one for about $50 at Sam's Wholesale Club last year (I didn't want to spend bunches of money on something I wasn't sure about)... Now I don't think I could Photoshop without it. It is well worth it if you plan on doing digital imaging.

Melinda, If you are serious about doing Photoshop, you need to have a Intuos tables. You can not do fine retouching without the stylus. Example: To put a highlight in the eyes you use the brush with a soft edge. Or you want to brighten the teeth; you can not do the corrections with a mouse. The stylus gives you the control you will need. I have over 300 hours in formal instruction in Adobe Photoshop and many more hours as a working pro. I will not attempt to do any kind of corrections on a photograph unless I am using a stylus and the tablet. Hope these ideas help. Good Shooting Doug
