A good Second Camera
I know many good photograhers have several cameras they use. I wanted to know what would be a good camera to complement the nikon N80 I have now. I have heard very good things about the N90(I would buy it used, of course, since it is not made any more). I would classified myself right now as someone who shoots many different images, people nature, landscapes etc.Any advice would be appreciated Thanks

You own a sweet N80---a pro cam,Darryl, but instead of buying a Nikon N90, its better to OWN an F100 ( the slick black type)---the N90 is still amazing though.I would also recommend the Contax NX, Leica R8, Pentax MZ-S, or Canon EOS-1NRS! All these camera have exceptional features.

Stick with Nikon. but, consider the FM-10. It's a manual and reliable. john

Darryl; I'm a Nikon man myself. The N-80 is a great camera. I would think about the F-100 or the F5 depending upon your budget. Nikon just released the new F6, but at 2300.00 for just the body I personally would not consider this model unless I were of the caliber of Jim Zuckerman,Brenda Tharp,Bryan Peterson,Kerry Drager and others in that league. I own the N-75, and have been thinking about the N-80 or F 100. Frank

If you're happy with the N80,...why not get a second one. You know its functions, you are familiar with its "feel" in your hands, and you know what your limitations are (if any), with that particular body.I carry two identical Nikon FM2's with me all the time. As mentioned,...the lenses are interchangeable, as are the other accessories.
