Film scanner I'm looking into getting a film scanner and would only like to spend between $100-$300. Can any one give me any advice to which one to choose from. I don't want to get too fancy with the equipment, it's just for Photo storage and editing on the computer.

If you can't spend the $350-500 a new Minolta or Nikon costs, then look for a Canon 4000US on eBay or a close-out sale. If you scan negs, the canon software will be OK. I you scan slides, write to me. Doug
