10x macro lens

Hi All
I am getting a 58mm Hi-Def 10x Macro Lens for Canon EOS Rebel Ti/K2/GII/7n (made by OPTEKA)for $60.00. Would its use (for closeup shots) be worth the price spent. the lens specs are given at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=4687&item=3853201989&rd=1

Thanks
MI

This is a close-up lens that screws to the front of a lens you already have. It will fit on any lens with 58mm filter threads (Ø58mm). Allows you to focus to much closer distance than without the filter, giving greater magnification. It's not a filter you can leave on the lens all the time because it takes away the ability to focus at longer distances.

$60 may (or may not) be a fair price for this, depending on its quality. Canon's own well regarded close-up lenses, 250D and 500D, are about $85-90 in 58mm size.
