what is the cheapest 400mm af lens? what is the cheap and best 400mm af lens for minolta maxxum 4 or 5.my price tag is not more than $250.is it safe to buy a used lens .if yes please tell from where to buy(please tell me the shops in u.s.a).

hi Jeevan, I am sorry but I am not responding to this with an answer to ur question. Its just that I am sailing on the same boat as well. I Need to know which lens I should go ahead for for my Nikon N65. I am myself looking out for a telephoto lens say an 80-2100mm or 100-400mm. I have been looking around a lot but havent been able to decide,thanks to the various reviews I have been reading.
