Flash recommended 4 Auto Racing at night using D2h

I currently have a Olympus C740, For what I shoot (stock car racing) the camera is usless after the sun goes down. Next spring I plan on purchasing the Nikon D2H, and the proper Flash/Lenses. Thats where my questions comes in. All the racetracks Ive been to the photographers I see use a (mount bracket and NORMAN flash)?and a belt worn battery pack. Im not totally sure its a NORMAN product, (was told thats what its called) its looks like a 8" reflector dish)? all of which needs to be baught in pieces? (does this sound correct?) and does it attach right to the shoe? Ive been to Normans website, and its all foreign to me. Id like any info on the above.. on part numbers. and what you think of the SB800 flash. Now lenses, what do you suggest for day/ night Shooting? Most of the Shooting I will be doing will be anywhere between 20-120 feet away. samples of my first years work are at http://community.webshots.com/user/shawn_swanstrom thank you for any help!

Alright I have done alot of research on my own, and with the nod from a freind I figured it out. I thaught this board would of been more help.. but I guess not. some experts! LMAO. JK. For those looking for the same thing I was. Here is the mother of all flashes. Buy the Norman 400B Kit (non Modeling)$1,100.00 replace the reflector dish with the Norman 2H mirror finish dish. $50. Norman bracket mount R4101 $80 (to mount flash head to camera). then Norman sync cord $20, and WEIN SAFE SYNC hotshoe mount to protect your camera and complete the link $50 Enjoy ONE hell of a flash that can trhow light up to 100 feet
