Calculating Settings for Multiple Exposures

I have a Canon Rebel 2000 and I can take up to 9 exposures on one frame. How would I make my aperture compensations say for a double or triple exposure?

Lesley, It's very simple. You multiply your film speed by the number of exposures you want to make.

Example:
100 ASA X 2 exposures=200 ASA
100 ASA X 3 exposures=300 ASA
100 ASA X 4 exposures=400 ASA
100 ASA X 5 exposures=500 ASA
and so on...

I'm not very familiar with the Rebel 2000, but if you can set your film speed manually, you're in business.
Good Luck,
Chuck

Lesley, simply multiply the number of shots you want to take per frame by the ISO/ASA of the film. 100 ISO/ASA X 9 exposures = 900 ISO/ASA. That's all you have to do. Remember, what you are doing is putting the same amount of light on the film as you want for a normal exposure for ISO/ASA 100 film. In order to do that all you have to do is multiply the film rating by the number of exposures you want. And say 9 exposures at 900 ISO/ASA is = to 1 exposure at 100 ISO/ASA. So, for each of the 9 exposures, you are getting just 1/9th the light of a normal exposure. So 9/9ths gives you a good exposure. Good Luck. I have done this many times with great and interesting results!
