Photography Question

Michael Croft

Which non-SLR Digital Camera?

I work for a small newspaper and we are looking to buy a point and shoot (non-SLR) digital camera for minimal uses in our office. It would mainly be used for indoor mug shots and outdoor vehicle photos. We would like the photos to be of good quality (at least a clear 150dpi reproduction). Any suggestions you can give me would be great!

With my experience on Panasonic FZ10, I think the latest Panasonic FZ20 is recomandable. Its greatest selling point is equips with a Leica Vario-Elmerit constant 2.8 aperture 12 x optical zoom lens (35-420 equiv). 2" LCD. 4.9 mp CCD sensor. Max resolution 2560x1920. Max shutter speed 1/2000. Wt. 536 g. Street price $534.
