Amdahl's Gallery		Color difference when viewing on a brower When I resize my color "digitally shot" photos to 500x700 at 72dpi, then copy them from my laptop to disk and view them on my other computer's web browser... the color is very different. It looks overly saturated and very sharpened. Not nearly as nice. I didn't seem to have the same problem with B&W. What is my problem and how can I solve it before creating a web site? Wayne Brasch		Wendy, it depends on what system monitor you viewed your photos on, i.e. was it a CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) how old was the monitor, what was the resolution set to, what the refresh rate is etc.etc. Generally some CRT monitors can deteriorate over time affecting the colour display. If you have the refresh rate set to low this can also have an effect on the display. Try your photos on another monitor. As far as refresh rate goes, go into: -Display Properties -Settings -Advanced -Moniter -Screen Refresh Rate and adjust it higher, the higher the better, too low causes flickering, eye strain and headaches. (LCD screen laptops around 60 Hertz, CRT moniter upto 100 hertz) In the Display Properties try also setting your monitor to 1024 x 768, and your colour quality to High(32bit). There are a lot of differences in display quality between Monitors i.e. CRT and Trinitron, or Passive Matrix LCDs and Active Matrix TFT LCDs. I have also had the same problems as I always use a Laptop and occasionally transfer some photos to my older Desktop. I hope this helps.
