  Hi Frank!
Your images look great to me!!
I have yet to experiment with B&W so I can't truly comment on the technical side of things!
How did you take themid-day shot of the plant??

  Hi Frank,

First of all, nice photographs. I particularly like the starkness of the first two.

The first photograph has a slight feeling of "lean" to it. Not sure if this is intentional or accidental, but since you have access to photoshop, if it was not an intentional aspect of the photo, "straightening" the picture will, in my mind, make it look better.

The second picture is nice, but lacks the impact which the first one has.

The third picture, the shadow of leaves, seems to have a yellow cast to it. Was this an attempt at a kind of sepia? It looks like a color cast. If it had been true monochromatic black and white, perhaps with the contrast bumped up a bit, it would give the shadows of the leaves a bit more presence.

Just my thoughts. But I really like the first one. There is a certain pull to the picture. Very nice.
