Attaching another lens while the camera is loaded.

Can I attach another lens while the camera is loaded with film?

  Andre,
You didn't state what make/model camera you have. In general, yes. I haven't found a rangefinder or SLR yet with interchangeable lenses that doesn't allow changing lenses with film loaded.

One caveat:
A handful of early vintage 35mm SLR's, some medium format cameras (including current models), and most large format cameras have in-lens leaf shutters instead of the focal plane shutters used on nearly all 35mm SLR bodies. In those cases, there needs to be a method for inserting a "dark slide" or otherwise shuttering the body (or lens board) when changing a lens.

I have a Minolta Maxxum 3000i. Will this make a difference?

  Andre,

Minolta Maxxum is a modern SLR and you can safely change lenses with the film loaded.
