Rohan: It depends on what you want to achieve. A single glass? Move back as far as you can while still filling the frame with the subject with a long zoom setting. Position yourself dead straight-on for perfect symmetry. Then try shooting from angles - from the side, for example. Using a long zoom setting from a greater distance produces a more pleasing perspective. It won't be as obvious that you were pointing the lens upward. Cheers!

In front maybe off to the side depending how large the image is to be, remember to use spot or centre wieghted metering for the shot!!!
