Epson 1670 vs. HP 3970 I am in the market for a decent flatbed scanner with a transparency ability. The HP ScanJet 3970 struck my eye for its price and abilities. My friend (whos dad works for HP) reccomended that I try epson, so I found the perfection 1670 which has very comparable specs. I have been looking around online for reviews on both items and I have not found a clear-cut conclusion to which is the better product. Does anyone have any opinions about either of these products?
