Identifying previous contest entries. Is there a way to determine if you have entered a photo in a contest before? I can see the entries from the previous month, but what if it was longer than that? Does the system identify an entry made twice?

Hi; No - we only have the links to see this month's current entries, and last month's total entries. There aren't any other tools to show you if an image was entered by you in past contests. Some folks will type into each photo's caption, entry-date info. Others keep spreadsheets offline to track (by image filename) the entries they've made, which month, which category, etc. Some will make a copy of their total monthly entries (for instance, on the last day of the month, using the "My Current Entries" link to see thumbnails of all the entries you made) -- and paste that into a Word document that grows over time, recording each month's thumbnails. But -- there isn't any way to go back in time (past last month) to review your entry history after the fact.

Thanks! I thought maybe I was missing something. Anyone ever had a contest entry kicked back because it had been entered before? Wouldn't mean to, but I admit I have lost track!

If you mean the same image being entered twice in one month - I'm sure it has happened numerous times over the years, but there isn't any BP process to automatically kick it back, or notify you that it is being skipped over due to duplicate entry.

If it's in the same month, you can't enter it twice. If it's not the same month, it's just a resubmit and those are welcome. If it's in the same month, you can look at your current entries to see if you already entered it.
