2017 North America Solar Eclipse Just figured I'd reach out and see if anyone at BP will be photographing their view of Monday's solar eclipse event... I decided not to try, as this will be my first-ever viewing of a total eclipse (going to Kentucky to be "inside the shadow") -- I didn't want to "practice learning how to shoot an eclipse" during the short 2.5 minute window of 100% total eclipse...! But if you're shooting any of it, I'd love to see what you get, and encourage you to share your photo(s) with everyone, here in this thread! Here's to clear skies in your neck of the woods Monday, and safe eclipse-viewing!

Am planning to take some bit not of the sun but the tree's shadows. I remember the one on 1991, the trees did some beautiful moon shaped figures in the ground, it was beautiful!!

Well, Totality has come and gone… And it was, as is often written about, absolutely sensational and mesmerizing to witness! The drop in temperature, the "sunset sky" colors encircling the full 360-degree horizon, the stars becoming visible at 1:27pm...! However, I have no pictures of it myself… So, if you shot some good stuff, please share it here!
