Difference(s) gallery vs. website? I'm confused. If a person has a website on BP, is there any reason to also have a gallery? If so, what would it/they be? This may be answered on the BP website, but I have difficulty navigating it to get answers to quite a few questions. Thanks for any help.

You get a gallery by getting a website. Whether you'll use it, you might find it redundant. The gallery may be linked to other things like classes or some of the other socially oriented things, but I'm not sure about that.
