Teleconverters I have a Pentax ZX-7 with a Tamron 28-200mm 4.5-5.6 lens, and would like to buy a 2x teleconverter. My question is what is basic difference between the AF and manual focus ones? The manual focus ones are much cheaper, and obviously don't have autofocus feature, but I'd also heard that the camera's shutter- and aperture-priority modes won't work with them either. Can anyone confirm this? I don't use autofocus that much, and probably won't ever at the focal ranges I'd get with the 2x so that's not the problem. Are there any other differences in quality/results between the AF and manual focus converters? Thanks in advance!
