I just acquired a Quantaray QTB-9500 flash, but now I need the necessary flash module to mount it to my Minolta Vectis S-1 (a maxxum compatible shoe mount camera), However everywhere I look no one has anything for it, and no one can give me any information whatsoever. Does anyone have any contact information for quantaray itself? Or even know where I can get the flash module I need?

Please help this desperate amateur!!!!!

Thanks

  Kory,
"Quantaray" is a "brand name" exclusively marketed by Ritz Camera (the large chain of camera stores). The items are imported from various manufacturers with the "Quantaray" name marked on them specifically for Ritz. Your only source for the module is from Ritz Camera.

I checked Ritz Camera's web site (www.ritzcamera.com). They have the modules for this flash and you can order it from them on line.
1. Look on the left side of their home page under "shop other depts." and go to "camera accessories" under that heading.
2. A page will come up and one of the items will be your flash unit. Select the link to your flash unit.
3. When the page comes up showing details about the flash, it will also list the accessory modules.
4. There are two different modules listed for Minolta Auto-Focus systems; one for the "5000/7000" and another for the "i" series. I don't know which one of these your Vectis S-1 falls under, but it should be one of these two modules.
