Photography Question

setting up the deluxe website

What I would like to ask is could I just send individual images to you as 6x4in portrait or landscape, low res tiff files at 72dpi. Will this be sufficient. Also if I would like a border to go around the images do I need to do this or is this part of the service you provide. I am going to send you one image that I have prepared. Could you please have a look at this and see if this is how you would like the images sent to you for the deluxe website. Also the colours of my images on my screen may be different from other screens. How do you overcome this?
Hope to hear from you.
Thank you

Susan

  Hi Susan,
Thanks for your interest in BetterPhoto's Deluxe Web Sites! Regarding borders around images, you have several options to choose from when you sign up for a Deluxe site.

As for getting photos onto the Web, it's actually done by uploading the photos directly into BetterPhoto - rather than by emailing. In fact, you can check out how your photos will look yourself ... in your own gallery (it's free to every BP member).

To access your gallery, simply click on the Sign In button near the bottom of the filmstrip on any BetterPhoto page. After signing in, you will be in your Member Center, where you can upload photos and see how they are displayed on the Web.

Hope this makes sense, Susan ... if you have any further questions, just ask!
Kerry

P.S.: By the way, Susan, if you click on your name (or the "Susan's Gallery" link) right on this thread, you'll be able to take a look at your gallery. Of course, at this time, you haven't added a bio or images (again, this is done by signing into your Member Center). Have fun checking things out!
