I know where you were Tracy. I've been to that little zoo myself. Have a funny story from there, can't tell it here. Very nice photo! Clarity and look, cropping and lighting. All great work! Well done!

Thanks Lori ! Can you give me your opinion on uploading to this site ? I upload in .tif with no compression but all of my images look compressed once they are up here. When I upload to other places on the internet I don't lose as much quality. Is there a trick to this that I don't know about ? Again thanks, your work is beautiful and I greatly appreciate any of your comments !

I found that saving and submitting all my work in JPG worked for me. Most of my work is saved in BMP format but for submitting here I resave it in JPG, and make the largest side no more than 600 pix. You might try that. I'v noticed that some of mine are not as nice as what I see on the computer also. Maybe someone else has other ideas! :) Thank you for the kind words on my work. :)

Tracy, this is gorgeous. The textures of the lion's fur are so realistic; also, the textures of the pebbles add to this, I think. Wonderful capture!
